In addition to the Mint Hill Highland Games, there is even more on tap this weekend in Mint Hill. Tonight, May 4th, is the first of this year’s “Movies on the Lawn.” Hosted by the town and held in front of the Town Hall, this free event features a family-oriented movie on Friday nights, starting with tonight’s classic – Charlotte’s Web. Movies start at dusk or around 8:30 pm. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and come enjoy!
Tomorrow, May 5th, the Mint Hill Farmers Market opens for the season. Held on the grounds of the Carl J. McEwen Historic Village, which is just across the street a bit from The Lofts at 7714, the market is open from 9 am to 1 pm and features locally-grown vegetables, plants and baked goods.
