About the Lofts

The Lofts at 7714

The Lofts at 7714 is the latest reinvention for a commercial building that has enjoyed a rich and diverse history in the town of Mint Hill.  The historic, circa 1945, brick building, located in the heart of Mint Hill at 7714 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, was originally home to Mint Hill’s own knitting and hosiery mill.  The distinctive front portico and many other original features remain, lending charm and originality to the spaces within this property, which has been locally owned and family operated for 50 years.

Today, The Lofts at 7714 consists of ten, unique commercial spaces, ranging in size from 250 to 3,600 square feet, ideal for retail, office and studio rentals for local professionals, entrepreneurs, merchants, and creative souls.  It is the current home of Bull Moose Guns, a purveyor of vintage firearms; McLeod Associates Architect, which specializes in the design of churches and their related buildings; Mint Hill Yoga, a studio offering many classes per week in a variety of yoga styles; Pottery 51, Inc., a pottery studio; Rick Rorie Design Assistance, which provides architectural drafting services; Rick Rorie Photography, offering personal and commercial photography services; Summit Environmental, a locating and surveying firm; Spotlight Performing Arts Academy, a full-service musical instrument, voice and theatre school; and Vintage on the Hill, an antiques retailer and furniture restorer.
